We wanted to create more of a magazine feel to the book, rather than each page follow a strict template. So while there would be a style to follow so that every page looks like it belongs in this book, every double page spread would be unique in it’s layout which would create more interest. Once the design concept was approved, I then completed designing the rest of the book (a further 70 pages) and I also took care of the finished art. (Note: I do graphic design work for the Property Council of Australia through Artichoke Design)")

They wanted a \"highlights\" flyer to send to sponsor prospects. A one page flyer that easily gives the facts and looks appealing to encourage interest in sponsorship opportunities. It needed to be clean and eye catching, but remain classic in its style.")

They found the fig tree and its ecosystem very fascinating. They liked the symbolism of them helping out a business as part of their ecosystem, making them grow, just like the fig is part of a huge ecosystem of species.
The simple icon of an open fig fruit seemed more in line with this brand than a generic looking tree. And seeing as it's \"& Friends\", then have more than one fig.")
