The CH was looking for a Geometric unusual logo representing the manpower supplier for construction industry. I did several concepts in the light of the brief but I was not even rated or provided feedback with. It was a discouraging situation. I did this typographic concept keeping in mind the clients Note. That they are OK with just using fonts as logo and no icon/graphic is necessary.
I emphasized the letter E within the typography which represents the building floors and construction industry. During the handover stage I suggested the letter E to be used as a letter mark for branding. CH liked the idea very much.
Whereas most designer's entries were Icon/graphic based. I was least expecting a win in this contest but sometimes focus on minor detail that others missed can make you a winner.
