The client a Golf and Country Club wanted an iconic logo for their club which was an orange plantation originally. They wanted the orange plantation and golf club aspect to show in the design. Along with that they wanted the logo to work well on apparel and can be engraved.
I came up with this icon which the letter G for Golf consisting of an orange shape with leaf and a cup flag making the shape a complete letter mark logo icon.
