Audiophile Music Group is the umbrella company of a number of electronic record labels, working with over 500 international artists on over 1,000 music releases in the past six years. Audiophile's releases have amassed over 400 million plays across streaming platforms, and have been featured by some of the top radio stations and music publications in the world.
The client in this instance wanted to update an existing logo. They had a solid idea of what they needed, but we also explored other directions. I ventured into 3D modeling and advanced techniques in geometric triangulation, first developed by mathematician Boris Delaunay in 1934. What emerged were some interesting art pieces, but to translate this to a workable logomark took a significant degree of simplification.
We settled on this cubist-futuristic head, part organic, part machinic. We paired this with a clean, extended sans serif font, to add gravity and maturity.
