A South Texas coastal themed seafood restaurant. Casual dining. target audience is boaters, fishermen, and families enjoying a weekend on the coast.
Concept :
Using a blue crab as the base icon of this logo, with an addition of a person fishing on a motorboat. This logo is designed to represent a seafood restaurant where visitors can also fish and go boating.
Process :
I created this design starting by reading the client's brief. Next, I searched for ideas by looking at references for existing logos or designs. Then, I began sketching rough drafts using Krita and Photoshop. To create the vector file, I finalized the design using Adobe Illustrator. And here is the result.

We are founded on old-fashioned principles, with a modern approach. We have an 86 acre farm, with a mixture of rolling fields, forest and pond. We have many maple trees, and our produce will include eggs, vegetables, fruit, maple syrup, flowers, among others.")

After looking at what has been submitted so far, we are definitely leaning toward the designs that utilize something other than simply the Highland head. We have attached pics of our backyard, pond, and barn, and would love something that could incorporate that as a background or in some way. We like it when the entire highland cow is utilized so long as the hair is made prominent. This could really set our logo apart from others, and the use of our barn/backyard can make it unique to us. One idea I had was to have a Highland Cow standing in the open doors of a barn similar to ours. Instead of attaching pics of logos, we have attached pics of our cows and farm.")
