The imagery I chose (heart & sun rays) was firmly focused on the gratitude element of the design.

I kept the shapes bold and simple to ensure clarity at smaller sizes and for medal production.

I kept the colour palette simple for the same reasons and offered a monotone version for print and web use.

I chose a soft red colour, which can be associated with both fitness and the heart/gratitude imagery.

I used a script font for "Gratitude" and a bold, slanted font for the rest, to give the text a modern, dynamic & "sporty" look.
