This book cover has been designed specifically for digital publication; the text is visually accessible in bright light and also when screens are tinted in dark mode.

This modern design draws reference from mid-century book jackets.

I have chosen an open-source (no licensing fees) typeface that sends a powerful visual message of credibility and modernity, with a hint of a caring, exploratory and handmade feel (ref: the tail of the 'R' etc.).

The two birds represent a cycle of transformation. Their colors represent pain and transformation, and their clash aims to bring out these feelings in the viewer.
