When I read your brief, I thought about time management and building time tables so I produced an icon which symbolises building blocks. The shape is formed out of hexagons - the shape of the building block used in an hive. I have used the colour arrangement to produce a pseudo 3D form. The shape arrangement is also determined by the number 25 - each colour is represented 7 x - there are 2 on left and 5 on the right. Admittedly, this is a very geometric icon and you inclined towards organic in your brief. However, I believe with a little tweaking, I could produce a more organic representation of this idea.
