Problem:
Brand/website was already very popular and familiar to over 1,000,000 monthly subscribers/users, but the design was heavily outdated and desperately needed an redesign without unfamiluarising itself to it's huge audience.
Solution:
Rebuilt and modernise everything with logical UX principles. I did this by experimenting with spacing, font sizes and grouping of elements to establish a clear hierarchy.
Another part I focused on was making the design not just look and functional well, but to make it impactful. I achieved this by creating a custom hero graphic that acts as a strong CTA but also anchors familiarity to his YouTube fan base with the background youtube videos.
