Songador does for music what Cubism did for art. This new platform allows composers to build music in segments that can be shuffled or juxtaposed with endless variety. Songs created here have a life of their own, and provide a different experience with each listen. This 'infinite' potential, mixed with the idea that 'the songs have a life of their own' resulted in this chromosome concept.
The chromosome implies multiple generations descending from an original 'parent' song. The circular curves not only hint at 'infinity', but they mimic the primary interface that allows the listener to adjust the variables programmed into each song. They also resulted in an S shape, which I seized on to develop the custom logotype.
The logotype features mirrored curves in certain pairs of letterforms, further implying this notion of multiple, similar offspring.
