This unique Syrah sourced from a single hillside vineyard and aged for nearly three years in the finest french oak barrels, is dedicated to my Opa. He was a survivor of WWII and immigrated to America from Germany with nothing in his pockets. Through sheer will, grit and intelligence he epitomized the American Dream and become a successful self made entrepreneur. He was very formal (he always wore a suit and tie- even to a casual family dinner) and was as distinguished and sophisticated as they come. The Opa wine label should reflect that spirit.")
