The fourth book in the “Adventures of Thomas Leaf Monkey” is aimed at younger ages (3-8). This rhyming children's story follows the adventures of Thomas, who learns the importance of self-esteem, self-love, and self-acceptance.
Through playful rhymes and enchanting illustrations (created by another artist), young readers join Thomas on his journey of embracing and liking himself just the way he is. The book promotes positive thinking, emotional growth, and a strong sense of inner confidence in a fun and engaging way.
In the book layout, the text was placed in different areas, in order to keep the children’s attention.
The “PUFF POOF” graphic, followed by the word “Done!”, was initially designed by the illustrator for a specific page. I decided to repeat it at the end of each action in the story, reinforcing it and creating a cyclical rhythm.
I also kept the book cover design very simple, to focus on the main character and his doubts that led to the story.
