The contest holder mainly wants the color scheme to complement its logo.
Established specialty coffee roaster is now starting a sister company, Pigment Coffee, for grocery retail. The primary goal is something that absolutely catches the eye and jumps off the shelf!
They want to be the specialty brand that will jump out based on the packaging, and people will come back for from the quality. They want to be the coffee people who don't know about coffee quality will pick up because the branding is something they want to buy into and be associated with it.
It will be in the boutique eye-level section, aka will sit around eye level, and the price point is the higher price range.
The best way to do that is though impactful colors and designs.
