Late Winter is a new style of fiction which I call Dystopian-Magic-Dirty Realism which is aimed at anybody who enjoys these sort of themes. The settings are primarily dystopian, Orwellian, futuristic. There are some fantasy elements, other worldly characters that you would see in works such as Kafka. All seen through the eyes of gritty, degenerate, tough, dirty realist, underclass characters. Quite a bit of drugs, sex, crime, homelessness etc. You could say a dystopian, fantastical Bukowski from a UK perspective.
