Unlearn Marketing Magazine is a publication with a target audience of female entrepreneurs between the ages 25 and 40. The readers are modern and savvy, and the design needed to emulate the identity of those readers.
Women who own businesses are bold and bright. Instead of going with stereotypical feminine colors, I chose bright red and blue to complement the neutral pink-beige and gray colors. The logo was also adjusted to be more updated and show authority. There is a contrast of soft yet assertive in the overall identity, and it feels empowering. I believe these choices work really well in demonstrating the duality women have to juggle in the business world.
