Description of the product target audience
predominantly male target goup, age >35, well-educated,
We are looking for a wine label for a new brand with the name "La Fama de Sancho Panza". Who was Sancho Panza? Here´s a wiki-summary: Sancho Panza (Spanish: [ˈsantʃo ˈpanθa]) is a fictional character in the novel "Don Quixote" written by Spanish author Don Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra in 1605. Sancho acts as squire to Don Quixote and provides comments throughout the novel, known as sanchismos, that are a combination of broad humour, ironic Spanish proverbs, and earthy wit. "Panza" in Spanish means "belly". The red wine we are bottling is bold and aged in wooden barrels, so it gives a strong vanilla, oaky nose and is long lasting on the palate. The design should be as much of a bold statement as is the bottle´s content. The bottle will be medium-priced at a retail price of appox. EUR 8,95 and offers great value for money. Now the label has to support that. Words on the label: La Fama de Sancho Panza tinto Crianza La Mancha D.O. Graphics: Sancho Panza and his donkey (but read the don´t below...) or windmills (his master Don Quixote was fighting windmills) or a combination of both
What to avoid
Don´t be tempted to design the label to cartoonesque, it should be serious and classy.
You´ll find the measurements in the file attached. The "La Mancha" logo has to be incorporated in the back label. This text (height 1,5mm) has to be on the back label: Proudly produced by RE CLM 187/CR/ES, 13730, CIUDAD REAL, ESPAÑA for HARMS & STEDER, D-18055 ROSTOCK.
