Right from the beginning, we saw that we are dealing with a real talent. He read what we have asked and really thought about how it will look best. He gave us a few options that we had a hard time to choose from, as they all were great.
He has an eye for aesthetics and the logo on the box caught our eyes right away.
Overall great experience. I recommend to anyone and I will work with him again.
How hannah.bayliss started their product packaging journey
I like the intricacy of the design and the simplicity of the text
I like the way that the design flows around the main text
Like the way the design flows around the bottle
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Please consider that the liquid in the bottle will be pale pink so the label colours will need to compliment these
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
This will be a pink gin with lots of citrus flavours
We have chosen the name because the Rose Finch is a small bird, and the female has a beautiful pale pink chest. Its characteristics are similar to our own drift story. Rose Finches are nocturnal migrants, using the wind to push them to new places each season which is why they never know where they are going to end up. It depends on how strong the wind is! They believe in the motto, if lost, go with the flow! They are Drift Migrants and this matches our distillery name. Rose Finches originate from the Himalayas and travel far across Eurasia, through Japan, China, Russia, the nordics and now into west Europe, being found in Switzerland, Netherlands now even residing and breeding in the UK. They start flying in May and return home to warmer climates in September.
Description of the product target audience
Our gin is for people who like quality craft gin, both male and female, 25 - 45 with disposable income and want to be on trend!
GOAL: We are looking to develop a label design for our bottle which pictures the rose finch or lots of rose finch, and captures the essence of the migration pathways or trails.
• sophisticated & elegant
DESIGNS WE LIKE:
• Perriet Jouet - we like this because the flowers are trailing and very artistic
• Japanese line drawings – we really like these because they are a little abstract and your imagination fills in the gaps
– We really like the japanese line drawings and we would like to integrate the idea of beaches, drifting, migrating
The back label needs to use elements of the other labels we have designed; i.e. keep the driftwood distillery name, the dots, and spacing for descriptive elements. - see attached word file Rose Finch Brief for details
What to avoid
Nothing too fussy, still need to keep the design clean
For font, please use the fonts in the style sheet
No stock imagery
