Food & Drink
Hoogwegt Cheese (design will be owned by Hoogwegt Cheese) the cheese will be from a German factory)
Alphorn, AlpHorn, Alp-Horn (open for suggestions)
Description of the product
We need a design for a foil for 2,5KG Cheese blocks 10*10*25cm. -Gouda 48% cheese: basic is yellow foil -Edam 40% cheese: Basic is red foil -Same design, except for the color of the foil and cheese type -The producer of this cheese is a German cheese factory located in Bavaria (southGermany, next to the Alps). That is the reason for the name Alphorn -Owner of the brand (Hoogwegt Cheese). No link to this name on foil Producer of the cheese (Milchwerke Jäger) in the design there must come a link to a website, which is not ready yet (for example: www.Alp-horncheese.com)
Description of the product target audience
This cheese will be mainly sold trough Supermarkets, Hypermarkers and distributors and bought by (pizza) restaurants and companies active in foodservice. So not directly to end consumers, although in supermarkets the cheese is cut into slices in front of the end consumer. Mostly sold in South East Europe. The buyers need to have the association with normal (sufficient) quality for a great price. They need to have a warm and secure feeling with it. It must be marketed in the mid range (closer to low range as high range) In many countries cheese from Germany, and especially from Bavaria has a good reputation. (again the reason for the name Alphorn). Any link in the design to the Alps could help.
We need to have the design (Alphorn + type of cheese (Gouda 48% or Edam 40%) -The foil (only the fron side) must have a catchy and modern look. It must be associated with quality for a good price. -People need to see it once, and recognize it direcelty when they see it again -Link to South Germany and the Alps (because of it's good reputation) NOTE: attached a very basic (and unsatisfying) design of Alphorn we will not use Furthermore the designs of the factories' own brand and some other examples of blocks from different producers.
What to avoid
Do not mention Hoogwegt Cheese or Milchwerke Jäger on the foil.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their product packaging.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
g.deruijter collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
