pixeLwurx did a fantastic job. He was eager to make the (numerous) changes I requested and always delivered the work promptly. Happy to do business again.

Joel was great! He was amenable to suggestions, prompt in revisions, and produced a creative and original logo that stood out from the pack!
pooca did a great job for me and won the contest I ran for the design of a coffee package. While she had some stiff competition, she distinguished herself by adhering to the Design Brief which provided detailed guidelines for the design. pooca was also communicative and responsive throughout the competition, including during the Handover stage. I had a great experience with her.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Vir2 has consistently produced the highest quality instrument libraries available. Over the years, our sounds have been featured in hundreds of charting songs and top film and television soundtracks. We are the largest distributor of sample libraries in the world, and we create the most up-to-date loop and virtual instruments libraries using our extensive recording facilities and team of producers. As when you hire a musician or engineer in the studio, experience is vital.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are releasing a product called "Acou6tics". This product contains various high quality sampled acoustic guitars. This product is high-end/top quality and the cover should give the same feeling.
The product should have an iconic feel to match its partner product "Electri6ity" (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE). However, we do not want a cover that looks identical to "Electri6ity"; we want something that has an overall feel but the raw and rhythmic side of an acoustic guitar. Think new edgy acoustic guitars with a modern overall feel.
We want to stay away from music notes, untasteful fonts/styles, pictures of people and older feeling acoustic guitars. Please use acoustic guitars only, no electric guitars.
This cover would most likely be best by keeping people out of the cover. A focus on a single instrument or group of instruments would be best with a finely crafted font for the title. The title should be large and prominent and expertly incorporated into the design.
Check the attached file for an image of this libraries partner product cover that has a similar feel we like.
The design can be created using any graphics program(s) you like, but we would like final delivery in PSD or PNG format, layered, at 300dpi. It will be used as the front cover of the DVD case. Dimensions are 5.1" x 7.2" with 0.125" (1/8") bleed. The use of stock photography is acceptable within a reasonable price range. If you choose stock photography, feel free to use the preview (watermarked) image in your mockup, and we will overlook it during the contest's duration, then will purchase it if you are the winner of the contest.
Please leave out any flying musical notes, tacky clip art, or other "cheesy" design elements. We are only going to consider a design with a high level of technical execution and a pro look.
