Amazing talent and so quick to turnaround new designs with us!
How rcrogers started their product packaging journey
Okay to submit one, but we hope to end up with a single-serve packet and the box that 12-30 packets would come in. See Four Sigmatics Mushroom Coffee example in the file attached for approximate dimensions and the type of packaging we are looking for.
simple + imagery
clean yet playful
we plan to launch other SKUs and want a package that is set up to be part of a broader portfolio
Different, package size, focused on benefit / what it is
again the portfolio potential to introduce additional products down the road

Food & Drink
Omega-3 Superfood Powder Made from 100% Pure Algal Oil- DHA
Description of the product
AVAIL’s superfood DHA powder is made from algae, or “sea vegetables”. Our product is 20x as absorbable / beneficial than kids gummy vitamins and has a neutral flavor that can be mixed with any food or beverage (smoothies, OJ, oatmeal, etc). Taking DHA every day supports healthy brain function, including focus and attention--we created AVAIL to give kids the RIGHT dosage of DHA to actually see a health difference.
We are 20x+ better than gummy vitamins, but need to still appeal to kids
Logo represents an alphabet reading chart, to play on the this being a product for kids’ brain development
White label with black text
Whimsical and playful algae design for kids (we want to highlight the purity of ingredients, and tie the product to nature)
Plant powered / sea vegetable / nature-based / all natural (However, algae are not plants)
Supports: Memory, Learning and Behavior
Description of the product target audience
Kids diagnosed with ADD or ADHD whose parents are looking for a natural alternative before putting their kids on drugs like ritalin or adderall. We are initially targeting affluent moms (most often the purchaser) in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
We’d like you to design a single-serve packet, as well as the box that 12-30 packets would come in. See Four Sigmatics Mushroom Coffee example in the file attached for approximate dimensions and the type of packaging we are looking for.
We are looking for a clean, white and black design with pops of green to bring the algae ingredient front of mind. In the future, we will have a suite of products that use the same clean background with a pop of a different color based on the ingredient (e.g. turmeric will be yellow/orange). We’d like this first product to look like it stands alone, but also simple enough in design to become part of a product suite soon!
What to avoid
No stock imagery, we’d like to see an ingredient-focused unique design (algae, plants, nature) that is fun for kids and clean, simple to attract a discerning parent.
