Description of the product
Our product is a brand-new iced tea infused with CBD. It is a totally new technology that enhances the flavor, medical benefits and consistency of the product. The name of the product is ‘Moodsmith’. This product is the perfect blend of a historic product like tea, infused with a modern product like CBD. The design could be a similar blend of historic and modern. The name ‘Moodsmith’ should leverage the name with a cool or fun style. The product will be refreshing while providing customers with the meditative and creative benefits of CBD. It should look more Spa Like than Psychedelic.
Description of the product target audience
We expect the consumers for this product being roughly 50/50 male/female. They are generally younger (21-35) professionals with a college education. It appeals across the political spectrum with these customers actively engaged in social media. This is an upwardly mobile, conscientious demographic that share many commonalities with modern, young consumers of wine (Prosecco), RTDs (White Claw), premium beer (Samuel Adams, Michelob Ultra) and mineral water (Topo Chico).
The package should look like a premium product and the product needs to pop on the shelf. There are five things that could be on the package, but only three are mandatory. 1) The brand name ‘Moodsmith’ needs to be prominent and easy to read from 3 feet away. 2) The wording ‘Premium Infused CBD Tea’. (This needs to be on the label, but the size, font and location is up to you) 3) We will launch three products, each with different CBD benefits. For your design include one of the benefits on the package (mandatory): a. Calm & Relax b. Energy & Focus c. Recover & Reinvigorate 4) The tagline is ‘All Day Mood Management Beverage’ (This could be on the package but is not mandatory). 5) Finally, you could have a smaller icon on the package saying, ‘Innovative Fusion Technology’ (this is not mandatory). As far as a style we are totally open to any fonts, colors and graphics. To start we are only interested in front label designs. Preferably on a similar shaped bottle that we will be using (attached). If you have the winning design we will also need a back label produced.
