Medical & Pharmaceutical
Description of the product
Painfix is a topical pain patch made from secret blend of Chinese herbs. It is aimed at people who experience back and muscle pain. We want to position ourselves as the FIRST Scientifically-tested Chinese Medicine for Muscle and Joint Pain. Our clinical studies will show anti-inflammation and regenerative (healing) effects on back, knee, shoulder, neck, osteoarthritis, muscle and joint pain. We are thinking of targeting couch potatoes. Almost 100% of our competition is focusing on the active lifestyle or sportsmen segment. This means its going to be highly unlikely our brand will stand out. We want to target the opposite and position ourselves very differently.
Description of the product target audience
Anyone with back, muscle or joint pain. We do not want the packaging to convey that it is only for athletes but for anyone with pain. It is both for men and women of any income level. It will be sold online but will eventually be sold through retail stores like pharmacies.
It must stand out from the competitive products like IcyHot, Tiger Balm and Salonpas. The design should stand out from them by looking more upscale and not to "retail" looking like they do. We like a serious pharmaceutical look but with a little whimsy. The design should look quite upscale. We are thinking of using the word for Fix in the design as a potential, but subtle graphic element. – 修 xiu. The design should convey an Asian influence but not too much. The supplied logo is still a work in progress. We are playing with a thinner, less heavy look. The colors and not yet finalized so you are free to explore color variations.
What to avoid
The use of sports imagery. The typical use of someone holding an aching part of the body.
10 x 14 cm for the front with a depth of 3-4 cm. Dielines will be supplied once the design is chosen.
It all began with a design brief.
