Once he understood what I wanted, delivered exactly what I needed. Was great to work with!
STGMT is an innovative and thoughtful professional brand artist. His gracious patience in working with me indeed allowed his own exceptional creativity to generate a truly singular and optimal final logo image that is superb design-wise, and impressively alludes to key aspects of the company's business. He was always efficient and responsive, while always methodical and conscientious to explore entirely new imagery. Bravo and thank you Igor for your talent and support...
How shawn.trout started their product packaging journey
What colors do you want to see in your design?
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
we are going to use this label for multiple beer names so a generic spot to put the beer name will be needed
Description of the product
We are a small craft brewery in Vermont. Our beer symbolizes Vermont as well as our military backgrounds. We make tons of different flavors and styles of beer.
Description of the product target audience
Our beer is drunk locally by Vermonters. Typical craft beer drinkers are the younger generation, typically 30-40 years old.
we want the label to incorporate a little of Vermont as well as Military (however keep that smaller and off to the side) The center of the design should showcase our logo, know that for our logo on many occasions we have removed the background colors so it is not necessary to include the whole logo. be creative with it. Hop designs and grain designs sketched into the background would be great. We don't want dominate military presence or Vermont presence. Sleek but eye catching. I do like white backgrounds or black backgrounds. but have sketches of Vermont / military / hops all faded in the background, I also like a faded compass somewhere too.
I would like the logo to be present in the middle or top of the logo, with a blank space on the bottom where we can write in beer style.
We are going to want to use the same label for multiple beer styles, eventually each style once we know its a permanent beer to keep will have their own unique label but in the mean time, we will need something to differentiate between multiple styles, i.e. maybe a color scheme, maybe not the whole logo color but a line or bar that is colored differently.
There are a few details that are needed by regulation which should be on the sides of the logo and not up front which are the following statements:
"GOVERNMENT WARNING: (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems." (must be 2mm is side font)
there needs to be the following with an inch before the ALC so we can write in what the ALC is.
There needs to be a container size "22 oz"
it also needs to state on the side
"BREWED AND CANNED BY 1ST REPUBLIC BREWING CO. LLC //ESSEX, VT"
"VT DEPOSIT $.05"
Leave a small space on one of the sides for a barcode we can enter later. (as we don't have barcodes yet)
What to avoid
can should not have photograph pictures in it at all.
