Description of the product target audience
Becoming a new mom can be stressful. The joy of welcoming a new child into this world is quickly followed by a complete change in lifestyle. That lifestyle is often a change in sleep schedule, eating habits, or simple day-to-day activities that were once taken for granted.
We heard it first from moms in Austin. Then we heard it from moms across the country. And while we think there are plenty of snacks and eats for the new child in your life, there are few that keep mom in mind. That’s why we’ve come together to offer Leva Bites.
Motherhood is a unique personal experience that can take many shapes and forms. We created Luna because we’re here for every mom in their journey, whatever that journey means.
New Moms would use this throughout the day as a high energy filling snack. Typically for a quick breakfast while getting the children ready. Also on the go, when taking the baby out for a walk in the morning. And finally, as a mid-day reset when waiting for the rest of the family to come home.
We want a big resealable bag outside (like the packaging of many granola - i.e. Grandyoats). The resealable bag should have a transparent section to visualize the granola ball clusters and see that the come packed inside individual packets (like the trader joes trail mix). We want to make clear that this is not another loose granola, instead the clusters are on the go and friendly and moms are in control over how many individual cluster packets they have. They should come across as shareable. We want clean and mom-targeted design and something that catches their eye on the shelves.
What to avoid
Designers should avoid and overly childish design. This should not be mistaken for a baby product. This is for a new-mom. We'd also avoid overly feminine design (i.e. Breast Cancer Awareness logos). We want to come off as honest, simple, and relatable.
