Description of the product
Sprinjene is a toothpaste made with a patented technology of black seed oil and zinc for a superior cleaning experience. Its formulations combine the best of nature and science. Anti-microbiol and anti-gingivitis, relieves gum and teeth sensitivity, remineralizes enamal, helps dry mouth. It is free from sodium laurel sulfate , preservatives, dyes. It is the only toothpaste that qualifies for all these certifications: kosher, vegan, cruelty free, gluten-free, USDA bio-preferred. These unique formulations all contain black seed oil which has been known for its health properties for over 3000 years. Our products have been formulated by a PhD scientist with a long-standing career in oral care products.
Description of the product target audience
Millennial age range and women seem to be large markets for our product. Moms who buy for their family. Our sales have so far been concentrated on the East coast, west coast and Texas area. Upper income and people who want natural safe oral care products and who care about ingredients and what they use on their bodies. We feel it can have broad appeal since everyone needs to brush their teeth!
We need a refresh to our existing packaging, which has a natural feel but is a busy package. We supplied a number of files so you see what we have done. This new packaging will be a for a 5oz tube. We are refreshing our current packaging from the images attached with this request. Sprinjene- is the brand name- and the particular look and font that is used will remain the same. All the new design elements will work around our brand name/logo. The name Sprinjene means "Burst forth/Spring forth" in Dutch. We want to convey that sense of energy and positiveness through the package design. The look needs to be reflective of these three cores elements: Natural Ingredients + Innovative Formulations + with a Modern sensibility- THIS IS KEY to CONVEY! thanks! The packaging needs provide the sense of a natural formulation with a touch of modernity, along with formula and product innovation driven by our patented technology of black seed oil and zinc. This formulation is the core of our product innovation. We are proud of successfully combining science and nature for effective and safe formulations for medicinal oral care products Our primary tagline is: Making the world smile naturally -How can this be conveyed through packaging? We are the only toothpaste to hold five important certifications: Kosher, Gluten Free, Vegan, USDA Biopreferred and Cruelty Free. These have to be highlighted on the packaging. These need to be placed on the packaging and are important call-outs to our consumers. We have several lines- Sensitivity with and without Fluoride (for sensitive teeth and gums) Thinking a purple color Whitening with and without Fluoride (for natural and gentle whitening) Thinking a blue color Total Care with and without Fluoride (traditional protection) Thinking a green color These need to be distinguished by a color code so that the consumer can actively identify them immediately on the shelf. We first want to achieve the new look and feel from a design perspective and then will drill down deeper into the callouts and claims that must be placed on the package. We appreciate your creativity and fresh approach to our toothpaste packaging redesign. We think the certifications need to go on the front. We would like the design sides to have a horizontal and a vertical view. This way the box can easily go on a shelf in either way. The one panel needs to be the drug facts and claims.
What to avoid
We are planning to use our existing logo and font. But if a graphic artist has a strong sense of a better look we are open to seeing it. We do not want to put limits on creativity since we really want a fresh look and perspective. If you look at our instagram account you will see some nice images that may also help,
