Sear Perfection

SearPerfection is the name of the new steak weight we have developed. Steak weights are used to apply pressure to foods, to increase conduction of thermal energy from the hot cooking surface to the food. This increased force increases heat transfer, which more evenly distributes the heat to the food, resulting in a more uniform cook, short cook time, and better sear (flavor).. Our steak weight can be used on its own, or can be stacked with multiple weights, depending on the item you're cooking. It has a sleek design, and even has a slot to conveniently place a thermometer into the food and leave it there, hands-free.

Our target audience is in their mid-30s to early 60s, who love to cook, grill, and entertain, making more than $60k a year. They're most likely a married woman, who identifies with luxury brands, and will spend their dollars on a perceived higher quality due to a better aesthetic.

JLS is looking to contract a packaging developer to design packaging for a new Steak Weight. This packaging must exhibit quality–inside the box is a premium product. Ideally, we find a package developer that can design the technical side of the packaging (how it's manufactured, & correspondence w/box manufacturer), and also design the aesthetics/graphics. The steak weights will be sold in 3 different bundles: One steak weight Two steak weights Three steak weights We would like to use the same box design for all 3 bundles, but add additional information on/inside the box to explain how 1-3 weights could be used depending on what you need to cook. Box size can be between 9” x 9” x 3”, or up to 12” x 12” x 5”. A single steak weight is 8.0” x 8.0” x 2.125”. 2 steak weights stacked is 8.13” x 8.0” x 2.24” 3 steak weights stacked is 8.26” x 8.0” x 2.36”
