Working Class Brand
Decorate Your Own Headbands
Description of the product
Working Class Brand makes educational play, craft, and costuming supplies for kids. Our Headband Kit has everything kids need to decorate their own beautiful headbands with ribbons, jewels, and accessories, to wear themselves or give as gifts.
Description of the product target audience
The product's primary users will be children over age three who enjoy feminine fashion accessories and textile crafts. Its primary target purchasers will those children's caregivers and extended family/care network members who purchase toys and kids' craft supplies in the $20-30 range online in US states and territories.
We need a product box for our headband kit; we'd like the design to be clean, colorful, fanciful, and playful. We would prefer a somewhat feminine color palette and overall feel, but please avoid saying explicitly that the product is "for girls only." Also, please feel free to change the WCB logo colors if you feel it's helpful. The kit contains 10 headbands which are approximately 4x5x5/16", two large silk flowers (approx. 2x2x1"), one large butterfly (approx. 3"x2"x.75"), a flat card with 10 ribbons wrapped around it (approx. 6x4), two glue pens about the size of sharpies, two flat 1" discs to glue the large rhinestones to, and 1 small (3"x2") ziploc bag of assorted rhinestones. We would like, if possible, to include a die-cut window to display the kit inside. The printer's template file we've uploaded is actually our competitor's design, so the cutouts if you do them will need to be differently shaped (custom shapes are okay). The kit inside can be arranged in the same manner, where the cutouts would be in the same place, or they could (we in fact would prefer that they would) be arranged differently, per your own design. That is, we can adjust the interior layout of the product however we like as long as you design an interior 'card' or holder that will work with the box to hold the headbands in a particular position.
What to avoid
We don't want to use anything too exotic for the packaging materials -- gold leaf, unicorn hair, phoenix tears, etc. (Maybe for our next product?)
12" wide x 9" high x4.5" deep; these are the current dimensions of the competing product, and which we will use if we arrange the interior in the same way.
It all began with a design brief.
