1. Design the box
2. Design a luxury wrapper for the outside box presentation. The wrapper for this contest should say "Happy 50th Birthday!")
3. Place our logo somewhere on the wrapper and also on the inside top flap of the box, so the recipient will see it clearly.
We are going to do a line of seasonal wrappers soon, so there is more work in the pipeline for us to do later. TBA.
MORE INFO ABOUT THE BOX:
a 10" long x 7" wide x 3" deep - E flute tuck top shipping box, with a 2 5/8" barcode planned into it. (on the rear spine of the box, on the right side, out of the way).
MORE INFO ABOUT THE WRAPPER:
The wrapper width should complement your design, so I leave that up to you. It will fit around the outside of the box. See the example I uploaded for inspiration.
Disclaimer: I have a few ideas in mind which I'll share here, but please understand this is not a restriction just some
I am going for a fun vintage style look for this project, which is in line with our brand.
The recipient should get the feeling that there is something old and familiar in the box.
Here was my brainstorm, feel free to add to it as my design partner:
1.) hot iron lettering that looks like its burned into the side of an old dusty crate
2.) brown lettering on a brown corrugated box with a strip of luxury paper wrap around it.
3.) words all over the box
4.) Color that really pops
5.) Give it a unique but familiar candy box feel
SEE EXAMPLE BOX IN MY UPLOADS:
One of my favorite examples of what I am trying to do here is a product called crown maple syrup. They pretty much nail it. It's a beautiful box with a luxury wrap. I've attached a photo. Feel free to use this box for inspiration on our project here.
I have included an RGB brown color.. which is my logo color. So complementary colors would be preferred. Suggestions here, please advise.
If you go with a word layout and want some suggestions, here are some words we can use, but add your own if you think of something interesting:
Never. Grow. Up. (great on the side of the box, by itself)
