Other color requirements
I would like to tinker with incorporating the primary color(s) of a countries flag with each bag - for this contest I will only be focusing on the Mexico bag... (Mexico: Green/white/red)..could be just 1 color or could work in all the 3 colors somehow; also I would like to see an abstract of the flag somewhere on the bag if it works with the overall idea
The Freshest Bean Coffee Roasters
Coffee Beans (Mexico Oaxaca Single Origin Coffee)
Description of the product
I am a coffee roasting business looking to sell 3 unique coffee beans, from Mexico, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia. I want the basic same bag design for each bean, but the key information will change for each bag (name of the bean, tasting notes, and certification). For this contest I want to focus on the Mexican bean and whoever wins the contest I would like them to also design future bags as my business expands.
Description of the product target audience
People who want to buy coffee beans; probably males aged 25-45, all over the US. But will target a broad online audience of men and women coffee lovers of all ages
I want a bag design for one specific coffee bean I will be selling (and I hope to use the winner to design similar bag designs for coffees i sell from other countries) For this project, i want to focus on the Mexican bean - details will be found below. I prefer to have the logo and company name at the top of the bag designs, then a separate insert perhaps (as the onyx bag does I included as an example) listing the name of the coffee, the cupping notes, the words "whole bean coffee," the certification (if there is one), and then the weight at the bottom which will always be 12 ounces. Fonts: I would like to see samples with Amatic SC, Josefin Slab, and Barlow and it would be interesting to experiment with lower case, all caps, or a mix Also I would like to include a roasting scale (light - dark) with a picture of a roasted coffee bean along the scale showing how this particular coffee was roasted - this could be 5 levels (Nordic, City, City+, Full City, Espresso) as I would like to use coffee terminology...I envision a small sliding bean scale (however you can creatively design this) and the bean will be on the level for each coffee. I saw an example with an abstract of mountains and found that appealing. Mexico- Full City This is what I want to see on the bag in this order, descending vertically or as best designed as seen on the sample bags I included: Mexico: Oaxaca; Single Origin Coffee; Tasting notes: orange-citrus, hints of brown sugar & cocoa, Processing Method: Washed, Elevation: 4800-5700 Feet; Whole Bean Coffee; Organic FTO Certified, 12 oz Net wt. I don't want to cram too much info onto the bag but I would also like to include a suggestion from myself on how the people who buy the beans can roast it... for the Mexican bean: "Our recommendation: v60 Pour-Over, French Press, Cold Brew" This information could be on the side, on the front, I am open to any and all ideas.
Probably: 16 oz Compostable Stand Up Pouch, 7″ x 11-1/2″ x 4″ – Kraft
