Cosmetics & Beauty
We have a raw goat milk dairy that specializes in all natural goat milk soap that is both beautiful to look at and luxurious to use. On our farm we do not use pesticides or herbicides, nor do we give our goats antibiotics or gmo feed. They graze on luscious green grass and alfalfa and hay grown on our farm. We only use pure essential oils for scent and color our soaps naturally using botanicals, clays, charcoal and more. Our target audience is like minded individuals, looking for premium products that are good for them, good for the environment and the well being of the animals producing the ingredients for us.
What's your vision?
We need a new label designed. The label is going to be wrapped horizontally around the soap and needs to be 1.75" high by 9" wide. The label needs to convey the feeling of 'farmstead' (produced on the farm using farm ingredients), family, and natural farming in-keeping with the description of our farming practices above. Because natural ingredients are important to us, we want this to be the stand out feature of the label. We have already had a logo designed for us from 99designs and is attached. The same colors can be used: white, green, red, blue, or come up with something you think is more appropriate. The lettering of "North Whidbey Farm" needs to be changed, but other aspects of the barn, mountain can be kept in the label. Later this year the winning designer will be needed to make the same design on soap boxesl as a large vinyl banner to be displayed at markets where we sell our soaps. Attached is a copy of our current label. This will give an idea of size. Also attached is one company who in my opinion has done an excellent job of package design. Additional label information: The front and back sections need to be 3 5/16 inches, the sides are 15/16 inch. From the left of the label measure in 3/4 inch (and leave blank). The left side (which can have the barcode) will be 15/16 wide, followed by the front which is 3 5/16 inches wide, then the right side also 15/16 wide and lastly the back which is 3 15/16 inches.
Please include on the label Include on the front of the label: Name of business ('North Whidbey Farm'), Soap Name (eg 'Spearmint'), directly underneath Soap Name the words 'Farmstead Goat Milk Soap' Size ('4.25oz') On one side of the label: space for a barcode. On the other side of the label: 'Pure Ingredients: raw goat milk; saponified oils of Olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, Elaeis guineensis (palm) oil, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil and Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil; french green clay; pure essential oils.' 'www.northwhidbeyfarm.com' On the back of the label: 'our goats - our milk', '100% natural'. 'Natural is not something we just believe in, it's what we do. From feeding our goats farm grown hay and non gmo alfalfa, to not using herbicides or pesticides on our farm. We color our soaps naturally, using botanicals, clays, seeds and only pure essential oils are used for scent. At least one ounce of fresh goat milk goes into each bar.' 'Learn more about our farm, family and products www.northwhidbeyfarm.com Facebook + Instagram: North Whidbey Farm' I need to be able to change the names of the soaps - I have Photoshop to do this.
