Entertainment & The Arts
We make accessories for musical instruments that make them more comfortable and easier to play.
What's your vision?
We are looking for an exciting new packaging design for our musical instrument product. We want to change our packaging from the current plastic blister style to a carton/box style. This new packaging gives us more surface area for text, slogans, and graphics because we will then have top and bottom panels, plus left and right panels, in addition to the front and back panels we have now. The new packaging should be eye catching for store customers, and also convey a sense of high quality. Many of our customers play classical music, so use images and themes that are consistent. Also, many customers are students, so use designs that will appeal to a young customer, or a Mother shopping for her student musician. Key selling points for our product are: easy peel-and-stick installation, incredible gel comfort, available in 8 different chinrest styles to match many common violin chinrests. Mention the "Fit Guide" at GelRest.com -- a helpful guide for finding the best fit for "your" chinrest. The back of the current package design is included in the files. It can be copied and re-used with a little re-sizing if desired. Or, design something completely different! The back should also include a list of all 8 GelRest styles, with a check box next to each one so we can easily indicate which one is in the box. The 8 GelRest styles are: Strad, Guarneri 4/4, Teka, Flesch, Stuber, Guarneri 1/2, Kaufman, and Berber. Also included in the files is a template from our box company showing the dimensions and all the panels of the box. The box will be 3" wide by 5" long and 1/2" deep. All panels should be used.
Some slogans we have used: Looks professional, Feels incredible. The Pain-free way to Play Your Violin Never felt so Good Please include a "window" in the design on the front, so customers can use their finger to feel the material of our product. The feel of our material is a key selling point. Be sure to include a text balloon, and an arrow, to "Feel here" or "try it" or something similar. The window can be any shape or size, but should be large enough for a customer to fit their finger through. Make sure to emphasize that our product is "gel."

I have worked with Evelina for two years now on multiple projects and she is the only person that I trust to do my product labels! She does a great job every time and is fast and efficient.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
