Our large selection of products makes it difficult to establish a cohesive singular product package, but we hope to change that especially as we consider expanding our retail presence. In addition, to keep packaging costs down we need to be able to mass order a generic package and differentiate between products using a label, which must contain product specific nutritional information.
You can take a look at our products, logo, and current label at our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/marinascuisine).
Some designs we like:
http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2015…vola-pasta - like how the cooking instructions are done
http://article.unipack.ru/light_edi…979713.jpg - how we can potentially do a different plastic bag for each product line.
We want the package to have areas of transparency (perhaps half and half) to showcase the product as lot of manual labour goes into shaping and forming the food.
In addition to nutritional information, the design must have room for preparation instructions, one to two sentences.
List of fillings:
Pelmeni: Chicken or Beef AND Pork (Siberian)
Vareniki: Potato Cheddar, Potato Sauerkraut, Potato Onion, Cottage Cheese
Cabbage Rolls: Vegetarian, Beef, Pork
Crepes: Meat, Blueberry, Raisin and Cottage Cheese.
Borscht: Vegetarian, Meat (Moscow Style)
Size of plastic bag should be 3x12 inches.
Would be great to incorporate the key ingredient in the artwork for the label. The package itself can stay consistent for all products.
