Description of the product target audience
Someone who is health aware, they are an educated consumer of health foods and supplements and believe organic is superior in terms of potency and purity. They understand the value and importance of real whole food nutrition and would typically be female aged 30-55 middle to high income bracket. They are looking to optimise their health in terms of supporting their immune system, seeking more energy, more mental clarity, focus etc to help them tackle the daily tasks demanded of them.
A product label for a food supplement, the label must have a modern feel to it that fits in with a natural, organic, earthy farm fresh brand for premium whole food supplements. The label must be able to serve multiple lines so generic enough that the name can be changed freely for example his or hers or vitamin C / Probiotics / Greens Blend ie used for multiple products of the same brand. These two brands below are similar and have a natural feel, I do however think both of these brands look tired and old school in their branding particularly Mega Foods but their appeal and messaging is very similar in what they offer and their customer demographic - Garden of Life https://www.gardenoflife.com Mega Foods https://megafood.com/ The name of the brand will be Sun Farm Organics which should appear on the label, there is no logo for the brand currently so you are free to fit that in as you wish. The label will feature the brand name (Sun Farm Organics) and the name of the product ie "Organic Super Greens Blend" - I want the product name ie (Organic Greens Blend) to be much more prominent than the name of the company which could be relatively small at the top, bottom or side depending on how it fits into the design. The label could be transparent therefore utilising the bottles amber colour as part of the design or could be a filled colour. I would like the designer to make use of the amber colour with bottle lid colours to play off against the label so it has a unique look and style. See pics I have uploaded for bottle/lid styles.
What to avoid
I do not want it to appear clinical or like body building supplements. This would be two examples of branding that are to be avoided https://www.amazon.co.uk/Optimum-Nutrition-Standard-Pre-Workout-Supplement/dp/B00TFB0YTM/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1480640063&sr=8-2&keywords=supplements and https://www.amazon.co.uk/CLA-Strength-Capsules-Supports-Composition/dp/B00XLWCDT0/ref=sr_1_26_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1480640119&sr=8-26&keywords=supplements
