Fusion Treats sells high-quality dry mixes for baked goods like brownies, cupcakes, and cookies. The customers buy these mixes and then make the products at home adding beer or coffee products and then baking. This product will be sold at local brew pubs and "bar and grill" type restaurants so the target audience is people who enjoy eating and drinking out at restaurants and then making easy baked goods at home to enjoy.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The packaging for this contest should be a box, tube, or bag that will hold the vacuum packed dry mix for the brownies, cupcakes, or cookies. The package should be large enough to hold at least 5 cups of dry mix in a sealed interior bag and the interior bag doesn't need to be seen (no windows in the packaging).
The package should use graphics and lettering that are simple and quick to read so the customer doesn't have to question what is in the package but they get it right away. Our preference for coloring is more "earthy" or natural color tones and our current ideas for packaging are in natural brown kraft-type boxes. But even though the colors might be more neutral, the overall package should be eye catching and quickly appealing.
The package should have a handle so that the customer can "grab one to go" since these products will be sold in restaurants and bars.
Since this is a co-branded product, the graphics should contain a blank space in a very prominent place on the front of the package that is a placeholder for the logo/description of the microbrewery where the product will be sold. We are envisioning the Fusion Treats logo and website address (http://www.fusiontreats.com) be located on the side or back of the package because we want the partners logo to be more prominent.
We won't need nutritional information on this original package draft but we will be adding a bar code to each package.
