A wine label. Either just one label that wraps around the bottle or a front and a back.
We would like this label to be very distinctive. We are partnering with a local organization, the Lake Winnipesaukee Association and a local artist to create a wine that we will sell at a premium and raise money for the organization.
We really want this label to stand out as a high end bottle of wine.
We think the artist work should stand alone on the label and be the most important and dominate element on the front other than the mame.
Information about the wine should be outside the artwork and on the back of the bottle.
The copy on the front:
Cranberry - Apple wine (in a smaller understated way, this is legally required to be on the label)
Label Art entitle, (will provide art title later), generously donated by Stephen Hodecker
Ten percent of the sale of this wine will go to The Lake Winnipesaukee Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the Big Lake’s water quality and natural resources we rely on to produce the our wine.
Our wines are handcrafted in Meredith, NH from the highest quality, locally sourced, at times wild foraged, whole fruit. They are vegan, gluten free, raw, balanced, and nutritious. Winnipesaukee Rose is a classic blend of whole cranberries and heirloom apples and fresh pressed cider that come together to produce a rich, semi-sweet and tangy wine. Enjoy chilled on its own or with roast turkey, smoked cheese, or vinaigrette salad.

Government warning: (1) according to the surgeon general, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems
(The words Government Warning at the beginning needs to be in bold.)
There needs to be a UPC Code. You can make the UPC code smaller but can't change it's ratio.
The available space on the bottle is as follows.
The distance around the bottle is approximately 8.5" and the height should be no more than 6.25"

Our Logo font is Dana and Scriptina Pro
I have included a picture of another rose that we offer to give you an idea of what the finished wine will look like in the bottle. I have also included a picture of some of our other brands.
The Artists painting that I included is a low res version. I will send a high res version once we determine the right design.
It is important that our brand come through on either the front or back.
The sail needs to be included on the label. However, I really want to artists work to dominate the front and don't want to disrupt the artists image within the art or by distracting from the art by other graphics occurring on the perimeter.
In some ways, the back label presents as much of a challenge for this project as the front, maybe more, as the back label is so dominated by copy.
