We produce and bottle WINE for sale in our Wisconsin tasting rooms and through a large wholesale distribution network.
What's your vision?
Many years ago we successfully launched 3 wines in Wisconsin, and we wish to refresh the current design. We hope to modernize and improve the appearance of this line of wines. We hope to expand the customer base to 28-48 years old. These wines are distributed into 3 surrounding states, and represent an opportunity for our winery to distribute to a larger area, and continue to enter major cities in the American market. We want to unify these wines in their own series, where we will eventually add more blended wines to this line, made in this style. You are free to design anything appropriate for a wine label. We no longer want to use cartoon characters, or critters to represent these wines (old labels attached). Our wines are unique, fruity, refreshing and the colorful label should reflect this idea. Please create a label series that is colorful and eye-catching for these non-traditional blended fruit wines. Here are the 3 wines: Sunset Splash – A carefree sweet tropical white wine bursting with pineapple, apple, mango and citrus. Plum Loco – A boisterous blend of plum and cherry wines with a kick of watermelon. Chaos Red – An edgy, five wine blend, a whirlwind of red wine flavors. Here are the requirements: 1. We need you to use our "Door Peninsula Winery" logo at the top of the labels (logo wedge attached), the logo can be in any color. 2. We would like all of our wine labels look like they are from the same winery, we are attempting to strengthen and unify our brand. Therefore, we have a series of fruit wine labels (attached) where you may use some elements from these labels. 3. The labels will be applied to short neck bottles (see attached blank bottles). Yellow cap for Sunset Splash, Burgundy cap for Plum Loco, and Red cap is Chaos Red. 4. There should be an element of the design that can be modified to differentiate each wine. The element to be modified can be the same for all three wines or the element can be different to fit the personality of each wine. The use of color is encouraged to differentiate each wine. 5. The label shape for this series of wines is your imagination. 6. This project primary focus is the front label; do not design a back label, not needed.
In the current marketplace, we see wine labels that represent a traditional wine brand, with traditional grape varietal wines. They are uniform, they have grape leaves on them, trees, or pictures of winery estates, and the design is boring. We do not see our series of wines using this traditional labeling method. Our wines are unique blended wines, they are hand crafted fun. Unfortunately, we have not found something existing in the market place that we like, so we are very open to see your unique work and ideas.
