Description of the product
The farm "Rutzigen" with the southern slope (Südhang) belongs to Eschenbach in the canton of Lucerne. Already in 1256 "Rutzigen" was mentioned. The name probably comes from the fact that on the steep path a cart often had to be pulled out of the dirt, or as it was called at that time "gerutzt". From here, the view stretches over the entire mountain range from Mount Pilatus to Mount Rigi and the Alps. We treat nature with utmost respect and joy. In order to obtain excellent fruit from our soil, we give our vines the sunniest position and careful grooming. In this way, the delicate berries ripen into delicious grapes. After the harvest, we press and refine them into fruity wine and spirit specialties with the unique character of our region. With the newcomer "Kerner AOC Luzern" our assortment is completed with a fine fruity white wine, which is characterized by its tart character and fruity aroma. Its mild, soft acidity goes particularly well with light appetizers, but also with summer salads, fish, white meat, asparagus dishes and young cheese. This new AOC wine should visually stand out from the existing products. Specifically, we want to get away from the sunset photo on the label. However, the look and feel of the entire brand should remain. Please refer to the website for guidance. AOC wines must originate from a clearly defined geographical area, which can range from a single vineyard to one or more wine-growing communities to an entire region (here: Canton Lucerne). In addition, they must meet strict qualitative specifications in terms of grape varieties, cultivation, yield, harvesting and aging.
Description of the product target audience
The target group comprises 28 to 70-year-old men and women living in Switzerland. The people in the target group have a medium to upper income and live predominantly in the city or suburbs. When shopping, quality is more important to them than price. They like to consume regional products and prefer healthy, fresh food, which they like to buy from the (organic) market or directly from the producer. The environmental compatibility of products plays a major role for them and sustainability is important to them.
