We're Whispering Horse Winery. We will be specializing in sparkling wines (L'Acadie; Epicure; Seyval Blanc), but will also have some still wines (Pinot Gris; L'Acadie). Our grapes are 100% estate grown and produce beautifully elegant wines.
Description of the product target audience
Target market are those aged 30-54 years old, university educated, income of $100,000 - $150,000CND annual income, wine and food-savvy professionals who value locally grown/made products. We aim to target those from Vancouver, BC. (60km west from us).
We would like a wine bottle label for 5 of our wines (2 still and 3 sparkling). The labels should be the same visually, but can differ between the still and sparkling wines as these will be 2 different bottle shapes. We'd like the label to reflect our small family-run business with perhaps some font (of the wine name) that is 'hand-written' in style (please see our additional files of some label writing we like - Morgan and Clos du Soliel). We also would like a white or ivory background and our logo of the horse on the label. We like something that evokes movement, with the horse running, and with perhaps some further extension of the leaves falling beyond what our logo presently has (e.g., see our mock-up label in the additional files). You can also change the color of the logo - perhaps into metallic, or other colors. We would also like a back label that explains a bit of the story of our family land and the wine characteristics as well as all the legal information. We can send that text to be inserted later if you would like.
What to avoid
Please do not include 'winery' on the label - we just need 'whispering horse'. Also, please keep the design simple, elegant and sophisticated, but with a 'natural' or grounded touch. Not too busy!
We have included the shape of the bottle types in the additional files. We are relatively open to the shape and size of the label.
