Hewnspirits got their new product label by running a design contest:
Whiskey Label for Craft Distillery

Food & Drink
Other color requirements
Black background/label with metallic silver or gold lettering might look good.
Hewn Spirits Single Malt Whiskey
Description of the product
Small batch craft whiskey
Description of the product target audience
A whiskey label featuring our Hewn Spirits Logo and the words "Single Malt Whiskey" the same info on label that I included on the old label. We use ancient reclaimed wood so some subtle imagery about that might be nice. Nothing too loud though. Word "Reclamation" can be pretty small since the emphasis is on the Hewn Logo and words Single Malt Whiskey. If there's room, the word "American" can be above "Single Malt Whiskey"
What to avoid
No barrel imagery
approx 3 1/2" tall and 5" wide
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their product label.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Hewnspirits collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
