What's your vision?
Generic wine label that we can use for both our Red and White wine. The Pinot Noir is called "Dirt Boy" and the Chardonnay is called "Harvest Widow". We launched our wine last year and need to improve on where we are. General feedback in the market is the wine is high end (amazing) but the label does not reflect a high end product - Retail price $30-$35. We also need a cap enclosure in Red to match. My heritage is Maltese and my wife Jen is from Switzerland. VW Vella Wines. We have no image so am open to suggestions. We require a wrap around label same size as what we already have. We are outdoor people who love camping, sport and I love recreational hunting. We have 1 working dog (Cody) who is a kelpie and follows you everywhere around the vineyard. Love eating grapes of the vine at harvest.
After growing super premium fruit in the Adelaide Hills for the past 10 years and having watched so many amazing parcels of fruit turn into trophy winning wines, we decided it was our time to challenge the wine world and choose our own destiny with our own wine. Vella Wines is based on precision viticulture and the best wine making techniques to make a wine that friends and family will enjoy…… The focus on these amazing wines is to over deliver on fruit quality at a price point that anyone can afford. I have learnt over the years that every vintage and region is different and that a proactive approach, attention to detail, and precision timing is the only recipe to super premium vineyard management. Every vineyard has different soils, aspects, varieties, row orientations and microclimates and this is what inspires and challenges me to try and grow better fruit every year. The past 10 years of vineyard management in the Adelaide Hills has allowed me to grow contracted fruit for more than 30 of the top / leading wine companies in SA. Every vigneron and winemaker has different ideas and perceptions on what viticultural practices are required to make an amazing wine and Vella Wines has captured all these ideas, concept’s and beliefs in our own bottle of wine. Successful viticulture is all about timing, flexibility and sometimes just luck! We have a specific recipe that we start the growing season with and depending on what cards we are dealt from the weather gods, depends on what inputs and operations require changing or tweaking to achieve our ultimate goal.
