Story - Over 10,000 years ago, during the ice-age, incredible floods from Montana carved out the canyons of the Columbia Valley and forever change the landscape of everything in its path. These were the greatest floods the world has ever seen before or since with water 400 feet high travelling at 60mph. The sheer force of the water was powerful enough to pick up hundred-ton granite boulders from Montana and tumble them down the Columbia River basin depositing them throughout the vineyards of Washington State.
We like the name Tumbled Granite and see different ways that a design could be created around the name. Whatever the design it needs to look like at least a $20 bottle of wine.
Possible Option 1 – create a graphic design around a boulder and grapes/vineyards. We are open to absolutely any style of design. It could be black and white or very colorful. It could be realistic or very stylistic or interpretive. It should pop when it is on a crowded wine shelf and needs to be easy to read.
Possible Option 2 – Just do a design based on the brand name and make it unique in the fact it will pop of a very crowded wine shelf. Create a visual graphic using the name that will be interesting, memorable and eye-catching.
Whatever design the other secondary information that needs to be on the label are:
‘by Rocky Pond Winery’, ‘2018’, ‘Cabernet’ and ‘Columbia Valley, WA’
The label will go on a Bordeaux wine bottle. The same bottle you would generally see Cabernet wines in.
