How edward_burt started their product label journey
stands out with the bold shapes
Simple and Elegant label. This is maybe one of my favourite labels.
simple and lovely
the texture of the paper is very nice here - that rawness is something I would like to get from my label supplier
This is one of our current labels we have but this remains to traditional for our new wine.
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
The colour red is important but I dont think it should be dominant. What ever colour there is needs to enhance the label in a very subtle way.
I am happy to try the same label with different colours, I know that in China the red might work but in other countries we could go for another colour or palette of colours that blend and enhance each other.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Food & Drink
La Demoiselle de FERRE
Description of the product
This is our New wine which we will be launching as our entry level. The wine is produced in France in the region of the HAUT MEDOC known as one of the most famous regions in the world for wine producing.
The product in question is a Red Wine.
Description of the product target audience
We are looking to attract the younger red wine drinkers with this new wine. It is why we want a label that will attract their attention and make them want to pick our wine over more traditional looking wines from this region and others.
Our main export market remains China however we are looking to launch in the UK (London) and the US (New York). Both these cities have some very cool new world wines that are leading the way in the restaurants and supermarket shelves.
We require a new label which reflects the spirit of the wine inside. The wine is very round, hints of vanilla from the oak and a smooth finish.
We also need a small back label with a small explanation of the wine and brief tasting notes. (notes and explanation to be provided).
What to avoid
I have provided a file which I gave to a previous designer but please feel free to go down the avenue you deem suitable for this new wine of ours.
Main Label size we think a slim 125x80mm would be suitable but open to suggestions.
Back label can be of any size but it only needs to hold a few sentences describing the wine.
I will be uploading some more info shortly
This is a little intro to our Chateau and the range of red wines we have under Chateau FERRE
