Em Pender got their new product label by running a design contest:
We're after a creative label for our shallot jam...what you got that will sell our shallots?!

Food & Drink
We have produced a shallot jam which we will be looking to sell to small retailers, deli's and food chains as well as direct to the consumer.
What's your vision?
We need a label designed for our shallot jam - the product is simply 'Shallot Jam' - there will be no connection to Magnus Kahl Seeds as it is a separate part of our business. The below details need to be included on the label. Product Name: SHALLOT JAM Weight: 360gms Ingredients: Shallots(60%), rich brown sugar, red wine, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, yellow mustard seeds. Nutrition Information: Serves/package: 18 Serving Size: 20g Per serve Per 100g Energy 127kj 637kj Protein 0.4g 1.8g Fat 0.7g 3.5g Total Saturated Fat 0.1g 0.5g Carbohydrate 5.1g 25.7g Sugars 5.1g 25.5g Sodium 4mg 18mg REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING Made In Australia from Australian ingredients Manufactured by: THE OTHER CHEF FINE FOODS 20/35 Merrigal Rd Port Macquarie NSW 2444 Notes: we need to leave a space on the label (25mm x 4mm white panel) somewhere so we can print the used by date on.
I have attached examples of labels used by other companies as well as the label roll requirements. We are running with a 300ml salsa jar size with a black lid. Out of the shallots featured in the shutterstock image, we like the bottom left. Should anyone have any questions regarding the product or specifications, please don't hesitate to email me - firstname.lastname@example.org Many thanks, Em
