Until about 1950, the Quinta do Monte S. Sebastian was just made up of several land uncultivated. After that date, the owners of the land at the time reconverted came with some terraces, proceeded to planting an olive, almond and other fruit trees consociated and began construction of dwelling house with mills, which became the Wine Farm. Subsequently, an annex was built to a still and also a small house that served as the housing Homemade Quinta.Para the time, and because of its privileged location, abundant hand labor and material resources allocated, the Quinta do Monte S. Sebastian could be considered a farm vanguarda.Actualmente, Quinta do Monte S. Sebastian, already in possession of the current owners, occupies an approximate area of 7 hectares, of which about 4 ha are destined for wine production, which is the main agricultural activity of exploration. The remaining area is occupied with the Fifth olive grove, orchard and amendoal.Ao over time, Quinta do Monte S.
