We are entering into our first bottling experiment, and need a beer label designed for one of our signature brews. The winner will be considered for packaging design (six pack box & case) as well as our 3 other bottled beer labels.
Attached is our current label design for the Seneca Indian IPA. We are wanting to incorporate the main color, the brown lettering color, and arrow head icon in the middle, into a much more modern, professional design, keeping the rustic West Virginia, outdoorsy vibe in mind. This exact arrowhead doesn't need to be used, but a similar arrowhead of some kind as the main icon. Feel free to deconstruct this totally, but we will need to keep the same basic colors and arrowhead representation. The idea behind the name, is naming an Indian Pale Ale after the Seneca Indians that used to roam the mountains here in WV.
In a lot of our designs (http://mountainstatebrewing.com/the-brews/) we use a rhododendron leaf.. as seen in the IPA label. This would be a nice addition if done well, but not required. A much better version of this leaf obviously.
Somewhere subtly, we'd like to work in our slogan, "Born and brewed in West Virginia." And our main logo should be incorporated somewhere - not necessarily in the main design - also attached.
We do not need a neck label designed.
- Dimensions: 3.5" x 7 1/4"-
Mountain State Brewing Co.'s Seneca IPA is an ode to the Native American Seneca tribes that once traversed the rolling hills of West Virginia - calling its lands, and bountiful hunting grounds "home". This highly hopped, moderate bodied beer is tuned perfectly to provide the hop explosion that IPA fans seek, without the lingering bitterness.
- small space for UPC code

- ABV %: 5.2%

Artwork requirements: Die line would be the 3.5 x 7.25". Then a 1/16"
bleed extending beyond the die line, as well as all text pulled in 1/16"
from the die line.
Attached also is a screenshot of our new tap handle design, to get a feel for our brand, and the rustic feel we go for. We'll also be having circular stickers designed for the middle of these (where the Almost Heaven Amber Ale is), dependent on the beer bottle label design.
And again, the winner will be considered for the packaging design, as well as our 3 other bottled beer labels.
