Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company
Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company beer label
Description of the product
We are a brewpub featuring Mt. Rushmore as our logo. We have four beers on tap that are based on the four presidents on Mt. Rushmore that convey patriotism, history, democracy, fun and beer! We are focusing on one label during this contest 1) American Fabius Blonde Ale (George Washington) using an illustration, caricature or likeness of Washington. However, we would like to continue to work with the winning designer on the 3 additional labels. 2) Long Tom American Pale Ale (Thomas Jefferson) 3) Trust Buster Scotch Ale (Teddy Roosevelt) 4) Rail Splitter Porter (Abraham Lincoln)" We would like our logo to appear somewhere on the label but there's no need to display prominently and the design shouldn't copy our logo style. Our current logo -needs to be only a small portion of the label - focus on the image of Washington and the Typography of the text
Description of the product target audience
Beer lovers young and old alike; more young than old! 21-40 years of age are the major customer group but we are a tourist area (Mt. Rushmore) that caters to families with children and lots of middle age couples as well
Imagery or a caricature of the president's likeness on the front of the label and all of the TTB legal requirements and disclaimers that also must be on the labels in the correct place. Since the label will probably be a shrink wrap or direct applied label, having the silver of the can come through as part of the design would be good like samples 5 and 9
What to avoid
stock images of Washington from the US dollar bill
12 oz aluminum can
