Stifanelli - Traditional Southern Italian Products Since 1980
Description of the product
We are a southern Italian grocery shop with a strong brand in our region (Puglia). We already label our own brand of Pasta and Olive Oil and we would like to add our line of wines. The first product is a "NegroAmaro" variety of wine that we will get produced by a local partner. The name of the wine is going to be "MaruMaru". Please check this pinterest board for references of labels we like: https://it.pinterest.com/mattstifanelli/wine-labels/ Here a brief description of the "Negroamaro" wine: "Negroamaro (seldom Negro amaro), is a red wine grape variety native to southern Italy. It is grown almost exclusively in Apulia and particularly in Salento, the peninsula which can be visualised as the “heel” of Italy. The grape can produce wines very deep in color. Wines made from Negroamaro tend to be very rustic in character, combining perfume with an earthy bitterness. The grape produces some of the best red wines of Apulia, particularly when blended with the highly scented Malvasia Nera, as in the case of Salice Salentino."
Description of the product target audience
Apulia is growing popular among international and domestic travellers as a holiday destination. As a result, our customers are usually Italian families from other northern regions visiting during the summer and looking for authentic Apulian products to consume during their holidays and to online order during the winter when back home. Our customers are usually looking for quality as well as authentic and rustic flavours. They usually have a higher than average purchasing power and are ok paying a premium for a product that is guaranteed by our brand. For this reason, the label is fundamental to portray the trust, authenticity and quality of our brand.
