Catering and specialty foods. To gradually lauch a line of ready made refrigerated: pureed soups(1), vegetable pots(2), risottos, pasta pots/salads and stews(3), international simmer and pasta sauces(4), leafy salads and healthy baguete sandwiches (5), fruit salads and juices/smoothies(6), to be sold in portuguese retail shops and supermarket chains.
What's your vision?
We need colourful, sharp eyecatching labels, not overwhelming, with a layout to be edited freely for varying products. They will compete on the cold shelves along with ready made meals in bright lights where other packages are usually wider and have glowing colours and irrealistic food pictures. . Products to be sold in a slightly conic, clear plastic microwaveable cup (380ml) with airtight white lid. We need one round label on the lid with a single design that fits every product. Then we need 6 vertical labels to colour the front of the package totally and nicely. Back of the package is free to view the contents inside. Label should be easy to handle because it will be put on manually, probably best is a rectangular shape and slightly conic to the bottom so it fits the package correctly. (P.S: leafy salads and baguete sandwiches sold in boxes and bags but take the same label shape). A) One design for each group label: 1) pureed soups 2)vegetable pots 3) risottos, pasta pots/salads and stews 4) international simmer and pasta sauces 5) leafy salads and healthy baguete sandwiches 6) fruit salads and juices/smoothies B) And 1 round label to suit every product. You are free to individualize each label creatively but they should be general enough to suit any variations in their own group products (eg: soups label suits: carrot cream soup, roasted tomato soup, broccoli, sweet potato,...and veg pots label suits bean and kale veg pot, aromatic provençal, ...), and all labels must have same dimmensions for printing.
The main concepts to shine through creative design are: a) ready made for convenience, freshness, healthy, traditional and international recipes. b)The target market is busy professionals, young adults, busy parents, tourists. c)We operate in the Algarve, famous for it's sunny holiday lifestyle so it's important that you can put some layed back light humour into the label, especially in this stressed out financial climate. d)In sunny weather people are more aware about health/weight issues so the image should focus on the healthy diet image.
