Description of the product target audience
Any. All. Grocery store shelves or stacked.
A "square deal" is defined as: an honest and fair transaction or trade. This is the spirit behind what will be a line of wines which provide excellent quality at a value price. The line of Square Deal wines will include both red and white wines in both claret and burgundy bottle shapes (burgundy bottle being the limiting dimension). They will be finished in cork closure (750ml). Needs to include varietal, vintage and appellation: for the initial design please start with "Sauvignon Blanc", "2019" and "California" respectively (minimum font size for these designations is 2mm). No artwork or logo exists for this brand so the font itself can be be a play on the name and part of the visual art. Take artistic license - squares, boxes, playing cards (ones card hand dealt), or something visually catching. Looking for fun but also want to convey that the wine is great. The wines are made and sourced by an industry leading winemaker who wants to bring wines that "over deliver" at any price to the consumer.
What to avoid
As this is a CPG-type package, I would like to avoid the color blue. Thanks.
Approximate dimensions 3.5 x 5 inches (for a burgundy bottle). A back label will be created separately.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their product label.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
mik7n collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.

And then… they selected a winner!
Beyond pure design talents, at.art went above-and-beyond to help us acheive a wine label beyond our intial imaginations (and brief). Moreover, the level of attention and service brought to the process was world class. As the winner of our Contest, at.art's designs were vetted by a group of stakeholders. Every time we hit a contest milestone, our feedback was taken to make refinements that always ended up going beyond the simple request our group proposed. At.art is truly a great designer that cares deeply giving the client "what they want".
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
