Food & Drink
We are a start-up company producing a limited ingredient, healthful dog cookie. Our product contains wholesome, natural ingredients that are good for dogs, like banana, coconut and peanut butter. It does not contain corn, wheat, grain, soy, sugars, or chemicals, artificial colors, artificial flavorings or preservatives. We use human-grade ingredients, and our product is manufactured in small batches in the USA, from ingredients sourced in the USA. It smells and tastes great, and dogs love it. Our target market is people who want what is best for their dog. They want their dog to have a healthy snack, made with real ingredients that they can pronounce and may have in their own kitchens. These are people who value natural ingredients and processing. They may be vegetarians – our product doesn’t not contain animal fats that can go rancid without chemical intervention. Our target market may be people with higher disposable income – initially the product is intended to be sold via the Internet and through individual food stores, rather than big-box retailers. But the price point is going to be in line with big-box retailers.
